The Humboldt Speed Skating Club is the home of Canadian National
Team, Olympic and World Cup skater William Dutton. The club is also home to several Canadian Age Class Champions and numerous Canadian medalists. Oh yeah, we claim the 'Spoon' Jeremy Wotherspoon too; he was born in the Humboldt Hospital.

Dutton Skates Fastest Junior 500 in World in 2008
Calgary - William Dutton of Humboldt Speed Skating club skated 36.30 the fastest Jr. men's 500 of the season in Calgary during the Invitational meet. Dutton is presently ranked second in the world in the Jr. Men's 1000.
